His father, the original Pietro, opened up the first Pietro's restaurant in Vacaville fifty-three years ago, and their family philosophy of serving fresh and simple Italian food has kept the business thriving for half a century. Twenty-seven years ago Murdaca decided to open his own location in Lodi.
