Antique Silver Spoon Bracelet
Marsha Gonsalves
While these bracelets are beautiful all on their own, each piece by Turlock-based Marsha Gonsalves also tells a story of days past, with classic sterling silver spoons found at antique shops, flea markets, and street fairs all over California. This particular bracelet is made from a 1949 Oneida spoon from the English Garden collection, and a peach Swarovski crystallized pearl, but Gonsalves can use any combination of spoon and beads. $55, Creative Crafters Vintage Nook, Miracle Mile, Stockton, (209) 547-1073
Painted Cigar Boxes
Chella
Based out of Modesto, Chella has been an artist at the Knowlton Gallery since its inception, known for her impressive landscape paintings. Most recently, she has found a new forum for her artwork, affixing smaller landscape artwork of the Central Valley and beyond to antique cigar boxes. Display on an easel, use as a jewelry box, to store unique note cards, or find your own use for these beauties. $60-$125, Knowlton Gallery, Lodi, (209) 368-5123,

Baby Socks
Jon Stevenson, Trumpette
Okay, so Trumpette might not be exactly local based out of Sacramento, but these baby socks, designed to look like shoes so your little one isn’t constantly kicking off their little kicks, are just too cute to pass up. Originally a men’s fashion designer in San Francisco, after the adoption of his son Nicky, Jon Stevenson made the transition to baby clothing and hasn’t looked back since. $24-$29/set, Lino Bella, Lincoln Center, Stockton, (209) 933-0441, www.linobella.com or www.trumpette.com
